One half of The Veronica's, Lisa Origliasso, is jumping on the Avatar bandwagon!

The diminutive Aussie pop star - who is currently in LA with her twin sister, Jess, recording their new album - has commissioned a self-portrait.

The twist? The Avatar-inspired image reveals what Lisa would look like if she was a native on the fictional planet, Pandora.

"Yes, finally - me in Avatar form," the 25-year-old tweeted this week.

She also uploaded the pic in question, which prompted plenty of her fans to comment.

"You look so hot in blue - u must act in Avatar 2," gushed one fan, while another simply remarked, "I wanna know how to do that!"

Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz has dropped a bombshell on his fans, revealing on Twitter this week that he has no plans to regroup with FOB - ever!

Wentz opened up the Twitter floor to his two million fans when he promised to respond to the first five questions.

One follower asked when he and the rest of FOB would come out of hiatus.

"Man. Don't you get it? A hiatus is forever until you get lonely or old. I don't plan on either," he tweeted.

In reply to another follower, Wentz wrote, "Can't imagine playing in FOB again. Something would have to change in my head or my heart - not my wallet. It'd have to be real."

He added, "Would you rather me lie to you through a publicist?"

A seriously committed FOB fan asked, "When did you stop believing?", to which Wentz replied cryptically, "When they gave up. The "they" is impossible to explain.&i never will try."

Another fan wanted to know, "Do you even care about the fans anymore?" to which Wentz fired back, "More than ever. Feel like I have to be honest but be fair to my bros in the band at the same time - it is no1s fault. Ppl grow apart."

Jessica Simpson and besties CaCee Cobb and Ken Paves are using their celebrity status for good, promoting a new initiative that aims to deliver 50,000 pairs of shoes to Haiti in 50 days.

The program is called 'Soles4Souls'. For a $5 donation, people can provide two pairs of shoes to earthquake victims in Haiti - yep, it's just $2.50 per pair of shoes.

Simpson tweeted details of the appeal out to her 2.1 million followers, while her co-stars Cobb and Paves - the trio present the VH1 reality show, The Price of Beauty - drummed up support by letting their 30,000-odd combined followers know about the program.

"Let's all do everything we can for the tragedy in Haiti," Simpsons says.

As the Hope for Haiti Now telethon goes live across the globe, celebs are tweeting direct from the phone line booths and uploading pics from the massive fund-raising event.

Hundreds of actors, singers and entertainers have lent their time to the telethon, which was organised by George Clooney.

Russell Simmons has been uploading loads of photos, prompting Twitter head honcho Ashton Kutcher to write, "You are doing an amazing job covering the Haiti telethon@UncleRUSH."

Tila Tequila has taken to Twitter to grieve following the death of her fiance Casey Johnson, saying she's in "unbearable pain", writing, "I had so many beautiful big surprises for her this year that she would have LOVED! But now my beautiful Wifey has left me."

Earlier, Tila wrote, "I have to move out of this house asap! I cannot move on if I keep living here. Its just a huge dark reminder for me that shes not here anymore."

The reality star has received plenty of support from her 290,000 Twitter followers over the loss of fiance Casey, who was an heiress to the Johnson&Johnson empire.

But there's no sympathy coming from blogger Perez Hilton.

"Go back to grieving and exploiting her death. You're great at being soulless!" he wrote, adding, "If my mom died, I wouldn't be granting repeated interviews about it! I wouldn't be Tweeting repeatedly about my grieving!"

The two went on to trade increasingly nasty insults over several Twitter pages, with Tila eventually writing, "Scum like @perezhilton can f*ck off!"

Perez fired back, "If Casey Johnson could come back from the dead, she'd come and f*cking kill you for how you've been behaving!"

Ouch.

Tila has since logged off Twitter to spend time with friends and family, and Perez has also moved on. "I'm done with you," he tweeted. "Buh bye! xoxo"

Earlier, the talented stylist - who dresses celebs including Demi Moore, Debra Messing and Kate Hudson - wrote, "View from my villa... I never want to go back to reality :)"

While the in-demand fashionista took a break from her hectic workload (as chronicled in her reality series), her assistant, Brad Goreski, sunned himself in South America.

Brad just returned from a few days in Brazil, where "even the flight attendants are beautiful", he tweeted.

Peaches Geldof has been involved in a near-fatal car accident, with the 20-year-old tweeting from the scene of the incident, "Just actually experienced a full on car carsh (sic)."

The model and TV presenter - whose full name is Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof - was on her way to Disneyland, California with her friends when the accident happened.

Minutes earlier, Peaches has posted a message to her 65,000 Twitter followers saying, "Speeding like I have never, ever witnessed before on the freeway courtesy of @thedeathqueen - [I] feel like I'm in a scary car chase video game.."

Fifteen minutes later she added another message, "Just actually experienced a full on car carsh (sic) with the IDGAF crew. Wow, I guess we really don't GAF."

Side note: the young celebrity refers to her friends as the 'I Don't Give A F**k' crew (IDGAF).

"Honestly can't believe we're alive after that," she wrote.

"And that the front of the car is totally **ked up - and yet, we're still carrying on to Disney!?"

The IDGAF crew were promptly rebranded the IGAF crew, and off they went on their merry way to the theme park.

Jess earlier revealed that she's been under the weather, tweeting "Just got our Xmas tree. Feeling festive despite my cold :)".

So, despite the fact that she was cooking a roast in a hot kitchen, she was tightly rugged up!

Ashton Kutcher's slightly prettier half, Demi Moore, has commented on the ‘W’ magazine controversy, after the odd-looking cover photo grabbed celebrity news headlines the world over for being airbrushed.

The magazine cover shows the stunning 47-year-old actress with what appears to be a concave, air-brushed hip, as highlighted here in detail by photographer Anthony Citrano.

Moore has taken to Twitter to defend the strange photo, even posting the original image to show that the photo wasn't too drastically manipulated.

“Here is the original image people, my hips were not touched, don’t let these people bullshit you!” she tweeted.

One of Moore's 2.3 million followers, @jayneduVall, pointed out, “U look fabulous! Just a little thin tho but in a good way :-)”, to which Moore responded, “Agreed, I am on the skinny side lately.”

Another Twitterer, @victoriash, wrote, "How can you let them photo shop&butcher you like that? It is obscene."

The graceful actress simply replied: "You know what is obscene is you judging what is my actual shape!"
